The oracle is now LIVE on Kickstarter.
I can't believe it's finally up and done. Within 24 hours fully funded! I have always avoided kickstarter with fear of failing but it's a huge pressure off my chest to finally have it done and over with(even though the journey has just begun). I have been working on this deck for an eternity it seems and still am, actually. I'm still finalizing images and making sure they are optimized for the printing procedure.
Initially I hadn't decided on my mode of printing a couple were just too detailed for screen printing small. Though the sample print of what I consider my problem child was for the most part successful the moon card needs a lot of work yet. I am also considering adding more cards as the kickstarter progresses.
I am so happy I choose screen printing for means of creating the deck. Though its so much more hands on and will be crazy until a larger run of them is done here in studio, the look and feel are amazing. It's not just some kind of mass produced deck from overseas. I wanted a thoughtful deck of things that inspired me as well as utilizing inspirations from tarot, runes and astrology. I wanted something I could stand behind and put my name on with pride to represent me and my brand.
There is still much more work on my end to be done... I have a book design in mind for the companion booklet if done correctly will be fairly unique and compliment the deck. unfortunately some aspects of the project are a little low key due to still being in early stages of testing and production. (book and bag)
The bag will also have artwork which is still being designed at the moment. I want the bags to compliment the set. I have a basic idea of where it is going and part of it is done but I need to play with it a bit.
I look forward to posting more updates as the project continues!
You can preorder the coloring book, snag some prints at a crazy good price, there are button packs and fabric patches there are many rewards other then just the oracle. The oracle itself contains at this point in time 20 mini screen printed cards.

Mystic Misfit Oracle Deck
I'm so excited to be working on this project. I have been planning on doing a deck for years and finally started to kick it off at the end of 2016. After the completion of the unicorn coloring book the oracle has take priority spot on projects and they have been really coming together with nearly half the core artwork done.
I decided to go with black and white with the art and after searching several print options I decided screen printing will be the best option for the cards to give them a truly eclectic feel. Like holding a vintage item, but, new. The dings and and knocks the cards might get after years of use just adds to their appeal to me having a nice natural-esque texture instead of mass produced plastic feel you find in everything today. It will be so much more work to print them in house, but I believe the result will be amazing.
There are a few things I want to accomplish first before launching a Kickstarter campaign, get a few more done of the projected possible 20 cards done and design a back design. I will finish out the cards, layout and hand drawn lettering for the cards during campaign and am hoping this will be ready in at most 2 weeks. It's exciting and terrifying all at once to think about launching my first kickstarter.

★ Things Just Got a Little More Magical... ★ Unicorns.......
Soooo unicorns. Who can honestly hate unicorns. I had been working on another themed coloring book can you guess what it is. Needless to say, I got a lot of great concepts for unicorn art. And with remnants still hanging of other worldly ideas and crystals from the alien series.. There was a little crossover....
The unicorn book is now out on Amazon.

☽ ★ The Aliens Have Landed... ★ ☾
The concept of this new alien series was an easy progression as they were drawn. The initial drawings for the series came from inktober ACEO ideas. I thought about adding a third eye in the beginning and figured I would go a more metaphysical route. With concepts from ancient astronaut theorists it helped formed some little telekinetic alien witches.
I knew crystals would play a pretty strong role in this series conceptualized mostly in part thinking about Moldavite which is considered to be a powerful stone with other-worldly properties. It in fact is not from Earth but resulted from a meteorite. So still playing with the third eye idea I slapped a crystal there in their foreheads to represent it and to be I'd imagine an amplifier of sorts.
The four eyes were a result of Halloween ghostly drawings and I clearly wasn't done with the little droop eyes. They ended up being a quick fix to a dilemma I could not settle due tot he third eye crystal debacle because they both seemed like good ideas.
Over all I'm happy with the way the series ended and I look forward to exploring other races and painting more cosmic witches as well in the future.
